Burlington Bulletin No. 61 was mailed from JPA in Pontiac, Illinois, on August 24, and will soon be arriving in members' mailboxes. With the recent “news” regarding the postal service, we may see longer delivery times since we mail not-for-profit bulk rate.

Co-authors Leo Phillipp and David Lotz have assembled a 116-page, single topic Bulletin entitled “Aurora and its Shops – 1900-1974.”  This is part 2 of the Aurora Shop story started in Bulletin No.58 published last year.  Cover price is $30.00 and is available for purchase in the BRHS Company Store. 

Included in the member mailing is an important letter from President Whitt, a paper ballot for the upcoming Board of Directors election and an Archives Auction flyer.  Those members who have supplied us with an email address will also be receiving an invitation this week to vote in the BOD election online for the first time!
