Burlington Bulletin No. 72 was mailed from Pontiac, Illinois, March 22, 2024. This 52-page issue has four articles. Rupert Gamlen from New Zealand submitted two, "What’s In A Name?" exploring the railroad's name after the B&MRR and CB&Q merger, and "HT-6 and HT-9 Open Hoppers" covering a one-of-a-kind car and a class of only 5 cars. The next article "A Modern Day Boomer" was originally published in the UPHS "Streamliner" where the late Jack Haley writes of his brief experience on the Q during the last days of steam. The last article from the BRHS Archives team expounds on the remaining steam locomotives on the Lincoln Division in the last quarter of 1956.
